immigration-ladies-coach-pleased-with-teams-display-against-police-ladiesImmigration Ladies Coach, Douglas Addy has reiterated that their outstanding performance against Police Ladies yesterday was as a result of certain problems in the team that he has managed to resolve, even though he refused to state categorically what they were.
Helpless Immigration Ladies have struggled in this season’s league but put up a sterling performance against Police ladies at the Carl Reindorf park.
Coach Addy again reported that his intention for the match was to win and nothing else because he confidence in the team team he had put together.
“There were some issues that needed to be solved urgently looking back at the previous matches but with the sort of match we played today I think everything is getting better” he noted.
“Although they played well, I was expecting a win and not a draw but in football anything can happen. So at the end of the day you need to accept what you get”.
Immigration ladies have had a difficult season which reflects in most of the matches they have played and also the current position they occupy on the league table.
Some have speculated that their performance is as a result of the team players who seem to be losing their balance due to age and are of the view that the team needs to recruit more vibrant, energetic girls who can march up with the other teams.
Immigration Ladies will play at the UEW Park this Sunday against Soccer Intellectuals in the match week 7 of the National Women’s league.
