Injury News: Asante Kotoko SC Without Star Trio For Elmina Sharks FC Showdown

 

Asante Kotoko SC have been rocked with injury news from the treatment room ahead of their weekends league match against Elmina Sharks FC.

The Porcupines missed out on the ultimate domestic trophy to arch rivals Asante Kotoko SC after a painful 1-0 defeat to the Phobians in the championship deciding game at the Accra Sports stadium.

Mariano Barreo and his gallant will however have to dig deep to get the better of relegation threatened Elmina Sharks FC side without their star trio sidelined by injuries and sickness.

 

Habib Mohammed, Augustine Okrah and Godfred Asiamah will miss Kotoko’s last league game against Elmina Sharks this weekend to add to the lengthy list of absentees.  Center back, Habib Mohammed, is still recovering from an ankle injury while Godfred Asiamah and Augustine Okrah are out due to illness.

Elmina Sharks FC will have to defeat the record Ghana Premier league champions to have any chance of maintaining their premier league status.

Asante Kotoko SC suffered a damning 2-1 defeat at the hands of Bechem United FC and will be hoping to end their season on a high with a win over the troubled Sharks.
