Ashanti Gold assistant manager, Thomas Duah believes players automatically gears up for games against Hearts of Oak.
The Miners will come off against the Rainbow lads on Saturday, at the Len Clay Stadium in pursuit of a much-needed win.
Duah speaking with Kessben FM said players take up responsibilities, leaving coaches with less to do in games involving the two biggest clubs in the Ghana Premier League-Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.
“It is easy because coaches don’t have to say much ahead of games like Ashgold against Hearts. The players turn themselves up when it is Kotoko or Hearts of Oak. Coaches will have a brief talk but the players’ confidence shows they are playing Kotoko or Hearts. So I think coaches have only 20% (involvement), they (Players) give 100% which makes it easy.”
While Ashanti Gold will be in search of a first win of the second round, Hearts of Oak would want to extend their six games unbeaten run.
