The Hearts of Oak SC manager believes beating bottom placed teams doesn’t come with ease.
The Phobians put two past 13th placed Berekum Chelsea at the Accra Sports Stadium to extend their lead at the top of the table.
Head Coach Samuel Boadu speaking after the win said it wasn’t an easy game but his did what it matters most.
“Yeah Exactly. Because what we needed was three points, it’s very important. Playing Berekum Chelsea is not an easy match.
“People may think they are not in good position so it makes it easy but it’s not easy.
“The team at the bottom are really doing well.
“So we as Hearts of Oak, we play match after match and we are not competing with anyone…this one is gone we are preparing towards the next match.” He said at post-match
Hearts of Oak now stretches their lead at the top to 2 points leaving their bitter rivals Asante Kotoko behinds on 47 points.
