The ever present enforcer lasted the full throttle as Medie Kagere’s double led the demolition exercise to keep their title hopes back on track.
James Kotei showed his versatile nature at both ends of the pitch with some deft touches and timely tackles all game as they nailed Azam FC to close the gap at the top to 16 points with 7 games at hands.
Simba SC have been dominant in recent weeks at the domestic level led by their fifth straight win but have since endured a nightmare campaign in the CAF Champions league campaign.
Razak Abalora saw the full 90 minutes between the sticks for Azam FC and had the pick the ball out of his net on three different occasions. He was joined on the losing side by compatriots Yakubu Mohammed and Enock Atta Adjei.
It was his first match after ending a three match suspension in the Tanzanian top tier.
