Japan, South Korea Friendlies: ‘Be truthful to the taxpayers’- Nana Fitz tells GFA

Veteran Football Administrator, Nana FitzGerald Barkers-Woode has warned Ghana Football Association (GFA) over ‘attitude of lies’.
Fitz says he will not fall for the FA’s claims of no financial gains in Ghana U-23’s friendlies with Japan and South Korea.
Japan and South Korea as part of their preparations for soon to start 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games invited the Black Meteors for friendlies.
According to chairman of Black Meteors Management team, Frederick Acheampong, there are no financial benefit for the GFA but rather Japan Football Association as well as Korea Football Association will bare all the cost around the set matches.
“I personally will never believe that the Black Meteors trip to Asia that is Japan and South Korea has no financial gains
They should be truthful to the taxpayers . Such attitude leads to hatred of the national teams.” Fitz said in an interview with Adehyea FM
Ghana have already lost a combine 10-0 in first two games against Japan.
The team departed to South Korea on Wednesday for another two games on June 12 and June 15.
