Ghanaian goal poacher John Antwi continued his goalscoring form for pyramids FC as they defeated Al-Ittihad Tripoli in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup in Egypt on Tuesday afternoon.
Antwi scored the only goal of the game on the 56th minute of to propel his side to another victory.
Both sides failed to find the net of each other in the first half despite the Egyptian side dominating possession.
Antwi’s second half goal was saviour of the day for Pyramids FC as they secured victory against the Libyans.
The goal gives Pyramids FC confidence ahead of the second leg in Libya.
