Crystal Palace top scorer Jordan Ayew is happy with the return of teammate and countryman Jeffrey Schlupp who recently recovered from injury.
Schlupp has been on the sideline for some time now with a hamstring setback.
The Ghana wing-back got off to a good start at the Club this season but found himself in the treatment room midway.
He however recovered and joined Group training prior to the suspension of the English Premier League due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Ayew, Palace’s star man so far this season is elated to see his teammate back on his fit.
“Jeffrey is a massive player to this team with his pace – we miss his pace – he’s an important player,” club’s website
“We are delighted that he is almost back and ready to help us hopefully get as many points as we can.
He added, “I just want to continue to always thank God.
“I’m a big believer in God; I pray a lot. I think it is something everyone has their own decision on – it is a personal thing.
“I am a big believer because I am in a family where we believe a lot in Allah and it is a positive thing.”
Jeffrey Schlupp, 26, still remains one of Roy Hodgson’s key players in the Palace squad hence likely to return to the pitch when the League returns.
