Jordan Ayew becomes the sixth Ghanaian player to test positive for coronavirus.
The 28-year-old confirmed testing positive for the virus on Sunday.
Ayew could not play in Crystal Palace’s League game against Brighton and Hove Albion
“Sadly, I have tested positive for Covid-19 & have begun my quarantine in line with the health guidance,” he tweeted.
“Thankfully, I am feeling fine & do not have any symptoms.
“I will be cheering the boys on from home & look forward to being back on the pitch soon”
The case count in the Black Stars now rises to six joining Joseph Aidoo, Bernard Mensah, Gideon Mensah and Kasim Nuhu who have all tested positive for coronavirus.
