Turkey based Ghanaian forward Asamoah Gyan has revealed his worry about his goal contribution to Keyserispor with just 3 goals all season long.
The 33 year old has been relegated to the bench in the Super League but still managed to find the back of the net on 3 occasions and has revealed getting haunted by his poor goal tally this season.
The season goal monger has enjoyed a renaissance of a kind in the tail end of the first round with some crucial goals keeping his place in the team.
In an interview with Accra based Asempa FM, Asamoah Gyan admitted the poor goal return but revealed that it was due to his absence from the mainstream duties.
“I am worried about the number of goals I have scored this season”, Gyan told Asempa FM.
He added, “I feel I could have done more if I was given the opportunity”.
Asamoah Gyan remains Ghana’s flagship centre forward in the 21st century with 51 goals in the colors of the Black Stars.
