King Faisal owner Alhaji Gruzah has made a damning claim suggesting he ‘tried to fix’ a game with Kotoko.
According to the football administrator, he made efforts to have Kotoko play it soft against them but to no avail.
King Faisal managed to hold Kotoko to a 1-1 draw in match day 31 to keep their title hopes alive, but Gruzah wanted something more.
“We went to see a Chief for him to talk to Kotoko so that they do something to help us when we were about playing them(Kotoko) in Obuasi,” he told Fox FM
“We wanted them to help us but they refused.
“I had even talked to Nana Yaw Amponsah, the Kotoko CEO and he said he cannot do anything about it for me.
“The chief to did not do anything about it for us.”
The Kumasi based side escaped relegation in the last day of the Ghana premier League after drawing goalless with Liberty Professional.
