King Faisal refutes Nyinahin new home ground reports

Premier league side King Faisal has debunked media reports suggesting the club is moving to the newly but yet to be completed Nyinahin multipurpose Stadium.

According to the club’s communications director, Awal Mohammed, the club has no such intentions of moving to a new venue, and would continue playing their home matches at the TECHIMAN Ameyaw Park

In an interview with Kumasi based OTEC FM, Awal Mohammed stated that the report is totally false and has no merits.

“We’ve not planned of moving to the said venue (Nyinahin Sports Complex). Management has not taken any decision on this. All I can say is if the league is to be played today; we will play our games in Techiman, he said.

Awal maintained that the people of Techiman has showed his side lots of love and received the team well that requires their continuous stay in the venue

“The people of Techiman really showed loved to the team and they welcome us well when we decided to move our home there” He added.

King Faisal moved to the TECHIMAN park after the Babayara Stadium went under renovation.
