Kosta Papic Reveals No hope in ‘Rotten bones’ of Hearts of Oak after resigning from club

Serbian Gaffer Kostadine Papic has revealed there is “no hope” in reviving the dwindling fortunes of Accra Hearts of Oak, hence his resignation from the club.
The Coach who’s team had gone on a 4 game winless run resigned his post only 78 days in office.
In his letter of resignation, Kosta Papic told the Club’s board that part if his decision to resign is personal whiles he believes the recent strings of bad performance cannot be changed under his technical direction.
“My reasons are partly personal, and also for the fact that I am not getting the desired and needed results, and I have no hope that its going to change” the coach added in his letter to the club.
Coach Papic’s side has failed to win a game since the 2-0 defeat to rivals Accra Great Olympics in their week 11 clash in Accra, the team also lost to Medeama SC, and drew with Elmina Sharks and Legon Cities.
The club has however acknowledged the coach’s letter to resign, noting the club needs a new technical direction.
“The club and Kostadin Papic have both acknowledged that recent results and performance have not met the expectations and agreed on a new technical leadership”. A statement from the club read.
