Kotoko to set up female Club

Kotoko are planning to establish a Women’s Football team as part of some policies outlined by the Club’s new CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah.
The Porcupine Warriors want to extend their reach to the female division after CAF’s latest decision to organize an African Women’s Club Championship.
The decision by the continent’s football governing body have eventually prompted several Clubs to set up female Clubs.
South African Champions Mamelodi Sundowns recently announced their female Club.
It is however unclear whether the Porcupine Warriors would adopt Kumasi-based Fabulous Ladies as its female Club.
Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku has already encouraged the Ghana Premier League sides to adopt the female Clubs in the country.
