Liverpool could announce the signing of Thiago Alcantara in the coming weeks.
Red boss Jurgen Klopp is believed to have made the Spaniard his major deal this summer.
Alcantara, 31, would be on his way to England in the next couple of weeks after the English Champions reportedly made an official offer to Bayern Munich.
Bayern are currently asking for nothing less than €30million for the player who has just one-year left on his contract.
The midfielder who was once a target for Manchester United moved to Germany from Barcelona in 2013 and has since been with the Bavarians where he has won six League titles.
He would embrace an opportunity to join Klopp’s team next season.
Liverpool have been silence in the transfer market this term despite losing Dejan Lovren and Adam Lallana to Zenith Saint Petersburg and Brighton & Hove Albion respectively.
