Manchester United are edging closer to Jadon Sancho signing after agreeing to meet Borussia Dortmund’s £108million asking price.
The Red Devils have asked the German Club to accept payment in instalment with £63million being an upfront payment.
Sancho has been on Manchester United’s wishlist since last summer but it looks like the English Premier League holders are ready to cash in on the former England U17 star.
Reports say Dortmund will accept an initial £63million and receive the remaining in subsequent years.
The attacker has burst to life since his £7million transfer move from Manchester City in 2017.
City themselves are hunting for the 20-year-old, three years after releasing him to the German giants.
“There is no room for negotiation, 120 million Euros is the only acceptable fee,” Dortmund chief Michael Zorc said.
“Dortmund start their training camp in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland, on Aug 10, there will be no sale after that date.”
United have been on their groove since the arrival of Bruno Fernandes who have been able to team-up well with the likes of Anthony Martial and Marcos Rashford.
Solskjaer will be hoping to land the youngster in the summer transfer window to strengthen his attack before the 2020/21 season begins.
