Arsenal registered their first win ever at Old Trafford since 2006 following a 1-0 victory against Manchester United on Sunday evening.
Arsenal controlled the game in the first half but had to wait until the 68th minute to be handed a penalty after Paul Pogba fouled Hector Bellerin inside the danger zone.
Arsenal had a brilliant start at Old Trafford but could not see the back of the net as United tried to absorb the pressure from the Gunners. Willian found Bellerin on the overlap on the right and the Spaniard stuck a wicked ball across the face of goal. Aubameyang peeled off Wan-Bissaka at the far post, but he was half a yard from it as slid in.
United nearly had a classic breakaway goal. Rashford had the ball on the right, just entering the final third, and spotted Greenwood hanging wide left. He found him with a superb yet rather unorthodox through ball, he shoots low at an angle but Leno blocked it low down.
Arsenal were awarded a penalty in the 68th minute as Paul Pogba stood on Hector Bellerin’s foot in the box, getting the wrong side of him. Aubameyang stepped up, he went right while David De Gea went the opposite side and the Gunners were in front at Old Trafford.
