Manchester United could go in for Red Bull Salzburg attacker Patson Daka this summer.
The Zambian International surprisingly emerges on the radar of the Red Devils who are keen to sign an attacker before the transfer window shuts.
Daka, 21, has been the talisman for Red Bull Salzburg since the departure of Erling Haaland, a player United missed out to Borussia Dortmund in January.
The former Zambia U20 forward was arguably Red Bull Salzburg’s best player at the end of the 2019/20 season scoring 24 goals in 31 League appearances to help his side win the Austrian Bundesliga.
United are believed to have shown interest after the player scored twice in Red Bull’s pre-season game against Premier League Champions Liverpool last week.
Liverpool themselves are said to have an eye on the striker who is gradually stepping into the shoes of the likes of Sadio Mane, Naby Kieta and Takumi Minamino who all joined the Reds after playing for the Austrian giants.
Red Bull Salzburg currently values the player in the region of £20million after he penned a fresh deal with the Club to keep him until 2024.
Ole Gunnar Solskjær has been busy in the transfer market in search of an attacker with English youngster Jodan Sancho’s move yet to be finalized by the former Premier League Champions.
