Massive Blow For Hearts of Oak As Star Player Set To Miss Berekum Chelsea Clash

Hearts of Oak forward Manaf Umar will miss the club’s next away Premier League game which is against Berekum Chelsea next week.

The youngster picked up his third yellow card of the season in the Phobians’ 2-0 win over Eleven Wonders at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday evening and it means Manaf will miss the club’s away trip to the Golden City Park next weekend

This is in line with Article 28(1)(e) of the GFA Premier League Regulations (2019) which states that “An unqualified player is a player who has received a caution in three league matches’’.

The prodigy has been instrumental upfront for the Phobians in their last games. Manaf opened the scoring for the continental club masters yesterday in the game against Techiman Eleven Wonders through connecting perfectly, a cross from Fatawu Mohammed inside the box.

The team will be hit with a massive blow due to his absence as he has contributed to 5 goals ( 3goals, 2assists) this season but Kosta Papic looks forward to an equally good player to fit that role.

The Ranbow boys will travel to Berekum next weekend for another interesting game against Berekum Chelsea.
