Dreams FC put up a spirited performance in far away Cape Coast to secure 1 vital point to move a step up the Ghana Premier League log when they held home side Ebusua Dwarfs to a 1 all pulsating draw.
Both sides have come from a defeat from Asante Kotoko and were looking to improve their position on the league log.
It was the away side, Dreams FC who drew first blood early in the game after Agyenim Boateng headed home a sweet cross from Issah Ibrahim from the right flank, beating goalkeeper Benjamin Quaye who got his debut.
The believers kept onto the game, pushing to get more goals, but a strong Dwarfs defence held on.
Starting Japanese international Jindo Morishita for the first time, Coach Ernest Thompson pushed his men up in search of the equalizer, but Vladislav Viric tightened his back line to keep his side leading to the end of the first half.
Ebusua Dwarfs returned from the break looking fresh with the intorduction of Elia Kofi jr who’s influence changed the complexion of the game.
With Simon Martey injured, Coach Thompson threw in Emmanuel Anarful to push his men upfront, this seemed to have worked magic for the crabs with a quick turnaround.
With Michel Ohene Asamoah right in charge of attack, Dwarfs pushed hard to get the equalizer, and to reward effort with results, Moro Sumaila drove home a powerful low shot to the right side of the post, beating goalkeeper Solomon Agbesi in goal.
Both sides looked to want to end the game with a win, but all efforts to get the important goal proved futile.
