A spirited second half performance from Caleb Ekuban, Thomas Partey, and Christian Atsu made things difficult for the Lions of Chingueti at the Accea Sports Stadium.
The Black Stars who are playing perhaps their last match before the start of the 2019 AFCON proved too strong for their opponents in the second half with some artistic displays.
The game started on a quick note at an empty Accra Stadium with Kwesi Appiah playing what is seen as a weak Black Stars side.
striker kwesi Appiah opened the scoring when he was fouled in the penalty box by Mohammed Dellah Yaly in the second minute, he elected himself to take the kick, and perfectly planted it on the lower left conner of the box, with goalkeeper Namori Diaw completely beaten with just 2 minutes of play.
After the goal, the Lions of Chingueti reorganised, and composed in themselves in the middle, preventing Thomas Partey, Alfred Duncan, and Alhassan Wakaso of possing any danger on their side.
The attacking line of the Lions of Chingueti led by Anne Souleymane occasionally took on the defence of Ghana, and in one of the moves nearly got a goal from a defensive blunder from Joseph Aidoo.
Ghana got one of the best chances of the game to double their lead in the 43rd minute when Thomas Partey capitalized on a defensive blunder from Diaw El Mostapha, but Goalkeeper Namori Diaw was quick to stop him from scoring, a ball thst looked easier to score than miss.
The Black Stars created two more goal scoring opportunities but Ernest Asante, and Kwesi Appiah missed them all, bringing the first half to an end.
Ghana Coach Kwesi Appiah made two quick substitutions in the second half when he brough Caleb Ekuban, and Christian Atsu to replace Kwesi appiah, and Ernest Asante respectively.
The Mauritanians also made one change with Ba Adama coming in for Khalil Moulaye.
The Lions of Chingueti were the beneficiaries of the substitutions, when they equalized through a freekick neatly taken by Ba Adamu with his first touch of the game, just outside of the 18 yard box.
Sensing Danger, Coach Kwesi Appiah brought on Jordan Ayew, Mubarak Wakaso, Kwame Bonsu and Felix annan to switch to a 4-3-3 formation.
The Substitutions this time around proved successful for the Ghanaians, when Caleb Ekuban, and Thomas Partey scored two successive goals in the 70th and the 72nd minutes through crosses from Lumor Agbenyenu and Mubarak wakaso respectively.
The Ghanaians seemed to enjoy the game after the third goal, with Christian Arsu, Mabarak Wakaso, and Alfred Duncan putting passes togetherto the admiration of the fans.
Christian Atsu came clupose to scorifng in the 83rd minute but his shot was stopped by goalkeeper Diaw Namori.
The Lions of Chingueti raised their game afterwarda, and make several incursions into the goal areaof the Black Stars.
The game ended on a high note with boths sides improving their play, and tryjng to fet some goals.
