It was undoubtedly, the biggest game in zone 2b with the away team seeking to cement qualification while the home team sought to protect its pride and tradition as the Giants of the West.
Skyy FC, who were plagued by injuries and suspensions were forced to play Ankobea and John Tandoh at left and right back respectively. This, however, didn’t affect the approach of the team.
Skyy controlled the game with ease in the first 30 minutes, getting reward in the 26 minute when Adu-Kwaw dribbled the two central pair of Hasaacas and slotting the ball into the net.
Hasaacas came in strong looking for the equalizer which was not to come until the second half of the game in the 58th minutes.
Skyy, after some tactical changes by Coach Malik took over the game, dictated play, and gave supporters something to cheer about.
In the 71st minute, the substitute, Hamidu Baba out run the Hasaacas defenders, got a one on one situation but got tripped and the referee awarded him a penalty.
Adu-Kwaw scored from the spot.
Dependable defender, Theophilus Nana Awotwe got a second yellow on the 80th minute mark and kissed a bye bye to the game.
Try as Hasaacas did, they couldn’t get the equalizer.
