Inter Allies did not do any thing different to ensurw they kept their opponents, who were playing without a known striker, with Baba mahama leading their attack.

With no time to waste, Legon Cities opened the scoring in the 14th minute when Mathew Anim Cudjoe scored from a goal mouth melee, following a Baba Mahama blocked Shot.

Allies came close on two occasions to get the equalizer, but Nafiu Sulemana failed to connect a Kingsley Braye long drive through the face of goal.

The game became a midfield battle , but Cities looked superior with Jonah Attuquaye, Nasiru Moro and Francis Addo combining to prevent Desmond Abuga from surging forward to supply his attackers.
