Match Report: Wa Suntaa SC 2-0 RTU- Goal Thirsty Aziz Owen Strikes Again As Believers Celebrate Easter With Third Successive Win

Abdul Aziz Kandumah John and his Wa Suntaa SC boys continue to stamp their authority in zone 1 of the NC Special Competition with their third straight win in a 2-0 thrashing of Real Tamale United at the Wa Park.

The Still Believe Boys flogged their northern brothers at the scorching temperature in the upper house region with goals from Abdul Aziz Goro Owen and the pocket sized Razak Muezdeen,

Having recorded back to back wins over Paga Crocodiles and Techiman City FC ahead of the season defining game, Kandomah John dropped Yagr Francis for Muezdeen Razak and it proved to be the missing piece in their jigsaw puzzle.

The diminutive attack belittled his size and sent the home fans into jubilant mood with his trademark typical striker’s goal to put the host 1-0 just 13 minutes into the game.

It was a lead they will shield and double moments later with former Dreams FC lanky striker kissing the back of the net to put the Believers into an emphatic 2-0 lead.

Flurry of chances created in the last 15 minutes of the first half failed to add to the goal tally with the ‘Wienco Boys’ resorting to a praying unit on Easter Sunday.

The ensuing second department of the game was cautiously played by both teams with the visitors seeking for divine interventions with a goal feast looming.

Wa Suntaa SC have now registered three wins on a spin, conceding no goal in the last 270 minutes of league football played in the competition. They remain the only team in zone 1 yet to suffer defeat ahead of their trip to Gbewaa.

Abdul Aziz Owen has now scored 3 goals in his 6 matches as he zooms his way onto the national radar.
