Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu has become the first manager to lose at home to Accra Great Olympics in the 21st century.
Kotoko was handed their first defeat of the new season following a 1-0 loss to Olympics in a match week 3 outstanding game at the Accra Sports Stadium.
According to Ghana League Stats, the Wonder club has recorded their first away win in ten games against the Porcupines, losing six(6) and drawing three(3) in the other nine.
Olympics midfielder, Micheal Yeboah’s strike in the second half tilted the balance in favour of the Accra-based club and handed them a vital three points in the Ghana Premier League.
Kotoko after the defeat are positioned 10th on the league log with a visit to Dreams FC next on their schedule.
Meanwhile, Maxwell Konadu has come under pressure to turntables for the Reds and get the team in shape before their CAF Champions League game against Al Hilal on Wednesday.
