Medeama SC not disappointed in Normalization Committee decision of ‘No Club for Africa in 2019’

Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC are not disappointed in the decision of the Normalization Committee not to allow any club to represent Ghana in the 2019 CAF club competitions.

A decision on Friday by the NC and GHALCA reached the conclusion that no club should represent the country in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup competitions.

And despite Medeama SC announcing their readiness to represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League if given the nod, they aren’t disappointed with the decision.

“We are not disappointed at all,” Communications Manager of Medeama SC Patrick Akoto told 442gh.com

“We have no difficulties because this could be a blessing in disguise. This is a decision of the majority of the people who were gathered and we have no ill-feelings towards this.

“Despite the fact that we have the capacity to represent Ghana, if the larger body of all club think that no club should represent the country, so be it,” he added.

Before the Anas Exposé which brought the Ghana Premier League to an abrupt halt, Medceama SC and AshGold were first and second respectively on the Ghana Premier League table.
