Ghana’s domestic topflight football returns to the local scene for the first time in 8 months with some game changing signings made by the various clubs.
The 18 clubs in the country’s premier division feasted on the official transfer window to make some flagship signings led by the return of Asamoah Gyan.
Madina based Legon Cities FC topped the transfer business activities with the arrival of Asamoah Gyan and Nicholas Gyan.

Rebranded Wa All Stars FC, Legon Cities FC, surged into the top four list with a total of €1.6 million as culled from the transfer market.
The Royals added quality across the pitch with Idrdrisu Nafiu, Baba Mahama and Nicholas Gyan all joining the club.
In the third position is West African Football Academy (WAFA SC). The Sogakope based side defied the odds to keep their market value despite losing some of their household names. The club is currently pegged at €1.60 million.
In the second place is Accra Hearts Of Oak SC with a price value of 1.75 million. The Phobians currently have some exciting young talents in the team led by Daniel Afriyie Barnie and Michelle Sarpong.
Atop of the log is Asante Kotoko SC with a cool €2.10 million market value for the playing body. The club currently boast of some top class footballers from the Ghanaian soil including Ismail Abdul Ganiu and Mubarick Yussif.
