Midfield magician Ashimeru delighted with first goal of the season for RSC Anderlecht

Ghanaian international Majeed Ashineru has expressed his delight after scoring his first goal of the 2021-22 Belgium Jupiler Pro League season for RSC Anderlecht in their victory over Beerschot on Sunday.
The former WAFA SC star wrapped up the scoring for Anderlecht as they beat their relegation threatened opponent 4-2 to move up to 6th on the league log with 20 points.
Moments after the game, Ashimeru took to social media to express his feelings after registering his first goal of the campaign.
“I’m very elated to have registered my first goal of the season with this wonderful club”, the 24-year old wrote.
“…with hard work and constant determination we shall continue to fight for this badge to the end.
“Thanks to my colleagues and the fans for the continuous support!! Important 3Points”, he added.
Majeed Ashimeru joined RSC Anderlecht from Austrian gianst Red Bull Salzburg in January this year on an initial loan deal.
The deal was made permanent in the summer transfer window after the Ghanaian impressed during his loan spell.
