Mohammed Salisu scored his first goal for Southampton in their Carabao Cup win over Sheffield United on Tuesday Night.
The Ghanaian found the back of the net to give his side the lead in the 53rd minute from a Nathan Tella assist.
Ibrahima Diallo had canceled Enda Stevens opening goal for Sheffield United before Salisu scored to give the visitors lead.
The game was then forced into penalty shootouts after Oliver McBurnie drew the home side level in the 66th minute.
Southampton eventually won the game 4-2 on penalties to progress to the next round.
Salisu,22, was making his 18th appearance for Southampton and his 6th appearance this season.
