Mohammed Salisu will honor Ghana’s invitation for next Month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and the Central Africa Republic.

The defender who has refused previous invitations is all set to represent Ghana after initial failed attempts to get him into the Black Stars team.
Salisu refused call-ups under former Coach CK Akonnor, went on to turn down invitation from Serbian Milovan Rajevac for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
He further turned down a call-up for Ghana’s World Cup qualifier against Nigeria but now set to join after meeting with Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku.

Close sources reveal the player has finally agreed and will be part of Ghana’s next international assignment which will be the Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The 22-year-old recently had patchy games at Southampton which saw him relegated to the bench.
