Mubarrack Wakaso’s Deportivo Alaves Host Thomas Partey’s Atletico Madrid In Ghanaian Derby On Spanish Soil
Ghana duo of Mubarrack Wakaso and Thomas Partey are set to square off in the Spanish la Liga when Deportivo Alaves play host to Atletico Madrid at the Estadio de Mendizorroza on Saturday March 31, 2019.
The pair has enjoyed impressive campaigns in the Spanish topflight with their various clubs but are set to face off as opposition later today in the domestic topflight.
Deportivo Alaves have amassed 44 points and will seal a top four spot with a home win over the second place Atletico Madrid when they take on the Rojiblancos at exactly 19:45GMT.
Mubarack Wakaso is expected to seal a place in the heart of the midfield whiles Partey’s spot in the midfield department of Atletico remains intact.
The pair featured together for the Black Stars in the recent AFCON qualifier at home to Kenya and will be the focal players for Kwesi Appiah when Ghana arrive in Egypt for the 2019 AFCON showdown.
