Asante Kotoko new Chief executive officer Nana Yaw Amponsah has introduced a new Squad system he believes is enough to sustain the club to top level Football going into the future.
With a lean squad of 30, Nana Yaw Amponsah believes the club can best manage and pay them well.
“Asante Kotoko is going to keep a lean squad of 30, with what I call a 4-8-8-4 system, we shall have 4 Goalkeepers, 8 defenders, 8 midfielders, and 4 strikers so that we can pay them well” the CEO disclosed at the maiden press conference organised to introduce his management.
Nana Yaw Amponsah maintained that, the club will have 4 youth players in the 30 man squad, and reserve two spots for experience players who may want to join the club .
He stressed that, the club will strive to win all matches, and competitions in the country, urging the fans to support the team at all times.
