NC Special : Hearts Of Oak Head To Cape Coast, Karela Host WAFA As Ashanti Derby Headline Match Day 11

Match day 11 of the NC Special Competition has produced some top class fixtures across the designated venues led by the Golden Derby at the Len Clay Stadium involving Ashgold SC and Asante Kotoko SC. The spiral fixtures will also see Hearts of Oak and WAFA heading to Cape Coast and Anyinase respectively.

In the northetn belt, Ashgold SC welcome Asante Kotoko SC to the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium in the return leg of the Golden Derby. The Miners suffered a 2-0 defeat in the first leg with a brace from Abdul Fatawu Shafiu and will be relying on Shafiu Mumuni and Richard Ella Djodi for revenge.

Bechem United will welcome Medeama SC to the Nana Gyesrbuor Fosu II Park in search of points. The Hunters will need 72 armories on home turf to stop that well oiled Mauve and Yellows even on home soil.

The suspension to Aduana Stars from their home grounds saw them moved to Bechem Park as they piped Berekum Chelsea 1-0 on Saturday. Yaya Mohamed Terminator was the hero for the Fire Boys.

Techiman Eleven Wonders will have to wait for match day 12 as their opponents, Wa All Stars FC, pulled out of the race.

In the southern belt, Liberty Professional will host a stubborn Elmina Sharks at the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park. Liberty Professional frustrated Accra Hearts of Oak SC with professional time management to earn a point in the capital derby despite playing almost an hour with 10 men.

At the Cape Coast Sports stadium, Ebusua Dwarfs could not have asked for a better team to perform their litmus test as they gear up for the visit of Accra Hearts of Oak SC. Hearts won the first leg 2-1 despite the late effort of Bright Nurudeen Lukman. Joseph Esso will be leading the line for the Phobians against his former team.

From Cape Coast to Anyinase, Karela United will be hosting WAFA at the CAM Park in search of top spot in the group. A win for Karela, coupled with defeat for Accra Hearts of Oak SC will sent the Cross Awuah Memorial Park based outfit to the summit in the southern belt.
