NC Special Tier 1 : Hearts Versus Kotoko Semis Grossed GHC355K at the gates

 

The NC Special Competition Tier 1 semi final between Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko SC generated GHC355K at the gate as proceeds from the match day tickets.

The much anticipated clash saw both teams pocketing 45 percent of the gate proceeds as agreed before kick off with the Normalization Committee taking home 10 percent.

A cool GHC5K went to the interim managerial body in charge of Ghana football whiles the two teams pocketed just a little under GHC100K after the mandatory deductions by the relevant stakeholders.

 

A total of 27, 272 were sold from the 37,000 tickets printed.

Fatawu Shafiu stole the show with his early minute strike to book a final showdown against Karela United FC.
