NC Special Tier 1 : Ismail Abdul Ganiu set to Crash former side in epic Grand Finale

 

Asante Kotoko SC defensive stalwart Ismail Abdul Ganiu is set to square off against his former teammates when Karela United FC take on the Porcupine Warriors in the grand finale of the NC Special Competition Tier 1.

The former Wa All Stars versatile defender enjoyed a remarkable one year spell with Karela United FC before opting for pastures anew at the Baba Yara Stadium at the start of the season.

Having enjoyed a dream debut at the Baba Yara Stadium, Ismail Abdul Ganiu is set for an emotion reunion with his former playmates when the Pride and Passion Boys storm the nation’s capital for the creme de la creme in the top tier.

Ganiu has since eased himself into an integral figure for CK Akunnor’s men with some defensive nous unleashed by the gargling figure at the back.

Organizers of the NC Special Competition have announced June 23, 2019 as the date for the final game in the Tier 1 with the Accra Sports Stadium expected to play host to the game.
