Accra Hearts of Oak SC will be without five of the players who played varying role in their 2020/21 triumphant campaign in the upcoming season, 442gh.com exclusively reports.
The capital based side shook off strong competition from Asante Kotoko SC to lift the 2020/21 GHPL trophy and topped their resurgence with the domestic MTN FA Cup.
The new adventure however ended prematurely for some notable players with either loan deals or outright sales tabled before them.
With Benjamin Afutu Kotei and Abednego Tetteh already out of the club, Samuel Boadu and his technical team are set to lose three more players before the commencement of the season.
Abdul Manaf Umar and Dominic Eshun, two midfielders who played varying across the 2020/21 triumphant season are set to leave the club in the coming days.
Abdul Manaf missed out on a place in the CAF Champions league registered list of players whiles Dominic Eshun dropped down the pecking since the arrival of Samuel Boudo.
Both players are expected to leave on loan deals for the 2021/22 domestic football season in search of playing time.
442gh.com however understands that representatives from the players want outright sales rather than loan deals.
The fifth player pushing for an exit from the club is Nuru Sule, one of six centre backs on the club’s wage bill.
Nuru Sule dropped down the pecking order with the likes of Robert Addo Sowah and Mohammed Alhassan featuring regularly for the Phobians.
Representatives of the want-away Nuru Sule are set for crunch meeting with the club to severe ties so as to find a new club for the strongly built center back.
