New investors set to take over cash-strapped Elmina Sharks

 

Ghana Premier League side Elmina Sharks are set to get new investors.

A report by Sports Journalist Mohammed Shaban claimed the club will be taken over by a group of business gurus who are willing to restore the Club’s glory.

 

Sharks have been cash-strapped for sometime now which went on to affect their season. The Club struggling throughout the 2020/21 League campaign after they narrowly escaped relegation.

They managed to finish just above the drop after a win over Kotoko in the final match of the season.

The former Division one League side have now been given a huge lifeline with new investors.

The Club however still got their eyes on the MTN FA CUP trophy as they prepare to face Hearts of Oak in the quarterfinals.
