Ghana Premier League side Karela United has acquired the services of Ghana Army striker Lance Corporal Emmanuel Dagadu on a two-year.
The powerful forward joined the Anyinase based club on the back of an impressive campaign in the Greater Accra Regional Football Association Division Two League where he emerged as the top-scorer with 16 goals in 11 games.
The Army officer completed his move on Friday after fruitful discussion between Karela United and Ghana Army football team.
The prolific goal scorer has already started training with his Karela United team-mates and is expected to be available for the Pride and Passion lads in their next game agaisnt Berekum Chelsea at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
The striker is expected to form a lethal partnership with another newly signed forward Abdul Aziz Dogo as the Anyinase based club continue life without last season’s Ghana Premier League top scorer Diawuse Taylor.
“Yes we have acquired the services of Dagadu, I have tried him, and can’t wait to partner him with Aziz Dogo, he is very strong and good in the air, no wonder he’s a military man,” head Coach Bismark Kobi-Mensah told local sports portal domesticSportsgh.com in an interview.
