Nine new players who joined Asante Kotoko have successfully completed their medicals, 442gh.com understands.
The Porcupine Warriors added eleven (11) new players to invigorate their squad ahead of their Confederation Cup campaign.
Abass Mohammed and Kwame Bonsu “Conte” were the only two players among the eleven (11) who had already done their medicals with the club prior to the teams departure to Takoradi.
The rest of the nine (9) players who later joined the club last week have successfully completed their medicals on Tuesday morning in Kumasi pending and are waiting for their reports.
Former Karela FC pair, Ismail Abdul Ganiu and Maxwell Baakoh, Safiu Abdul Fatawu, Umar Bashiru, Naby Laye Keita, Yaw Frimpong, Evans Owusu, Muntari Tagoe and Martin Antwi were the players who went through a successful medicals.
All the nine players will join the rest of the squad later today in Takoradi to start their ten-day camping.
