Nortey’s only goal inspires Eleven Wonders in win over Great Olympics

Eleven Wonders picked their fourth home win of the season against Great Olympics in match day fifteen of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.

Eleven Wonders registered their biggest win of the season by a 1-0 triumph over Great Olympics in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Mohammed Tetteh Nortey’s second-half goal sealed three points for the hosts in the matchday fifteen fixture at the Ohene Ameyaw Park.

Wonders kept their composure and were tactically superior than Olympics in the game which led to the winning goal by Tetteh Nortey in the 55th minute of the second half.

Great Olympics failed to convert the numerous chances created in the second half as they chased for the equalizing goal.

The result has catapulted the Sure Wonders to 14th on the league table, tied on points with Elmina Sharks who sit a spot above due to a better goal difference.

Despite the defeat, Olympics remain at the second place on the league standings.
