Match week 28’s intriguing fixtures full of derbies will commence at Tarkwa Akoon Park with the Nzema Derby.
Out of form Medeama SC will host feet finding Karela United on Saturday, June 8.
Both sides are on the same points, 43, lying 5th and 4th respectively on the league table.
The home side will look to get back to winning ways after an embarrassing 3-0 defeat to bottom placed Inter Allies last weekend.
A result which triggered the fans to storm the team’s training next morning to give head coach, Yaw Preko three matches ultimatum, ‘win all or else face sack’.
The three games begin today against Karela, before a trip to play league leaders Hearts of Oak and then welcome King Faisal in the subsequent match week.
Medeama have won only one of their last five league games, losing three and drawing one.
Prior to the poor run, the Yellow and Mauves won four straight games, obviously things has gone south for the ‘Never give up’ lads.
On the part of Karela United, after struggling in the early part of the second round, the ‘Pride of Nzema’ are beginning to settle as the are unbeaten in their last three away games-drew all.
The top-four chasers are currently on seven matches unbeaten streak in the league, winning two of those.
The Red and Greens won the reverse fixture, 2-0, and will be in for first ever double over Medeama since gaining promotion into the Ghanaian top-flight in 2017.
However, doing the historic league double without main fire power, Diawisie Taylor might be difficult for Karela.
Taylor has scored five away goals in the league, the most by any player at the club this campaign.
In total the striker has 17 goals to his credit, leading the goal king chat.
Unfortunately, the 21-year-old is on National Duty with the Ghana U-23 for scheduled international friendlies.
