Official: Asante Kotoko Sack Coach Steve Polack

official-asante-kotoko-sack-coach-steve-polackKumasi Asante Kotoko have sacked their head coach Steve Polack according to a press release by the Club.

Pollack joined the Porcupine Warriors from Berekum Chelsea on a short-term contract till  the end of the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League season.

He failed to deliver them the league title but managed to guide them to win the MTN FA Cup beating rivals Hearts of Oak 3-1 in Tamale last month.

The title success also booked a ticket to play in the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup which they woefully failed to go past the first preliminary stage having been booted out by Congolese side, Club Athlétique Renaissance Aiglon.

Just last November, the coach signed a long deal that was supposed to see him at the Club longer. However, the Management of the Club has come out to confirm that Polack will no longer be in change of Kotoko when the new season starts next weekend.

Below is the statement from Kotoko.
