Karela United striker, Kwame Boateng says playing on artificial turf will give the Anyinasie side a ‘bit of advantage’ in their game against Hearts of Oak on Sunday, April 25.
The match week 21 top liner will come off at Crosby Awuah Memorial Park, which was reconstructed in 2020 by Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) joining the few artificial turfs in the country.
Karela has drawn once and lost one of the ten home played games this season, winning eight of those.
Hence, Boateng believes the pitch will enable the Nzema side to get the edge over the Phobians.
“It helps us to possess the ball. Hearts of Oak have the same style but it is our turf and we know how to play on it which will give us a bit of an advantage.” He told Kessben FM
