Paa Kwasi Fabin lauds tactically superior Aduana Stars after Kotoko win

Aduana Stars head coach Paa Kwasi Fabin has lauded his side’s tactical supremacy after they claimed a 1-0 victory against Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League.
The first half was cagey as the Porcupine Warriors kept the free-scoring Fire Boys at bay with their defensive tactics.
But the Fire Boys men opened up their opponents in the second half and defeated them by a lone goal from Samuel Bio.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko missed the chance to go on top of the Ghana Premier League table after succumbing to a 1-0 defeat to rivals Aduana Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday night.
According to Fabin, the plan was to ensure Kotoko did not play through the middle.
“I told you why we play five in the midfield, it’s because their game is in the midfield, they swing passes and give a long one to Kwame Poku who has the speed to lash onto it and score.
“So we needed to deny the supply from midfield and we did exactly that.” He said in a post match interview.
Aduana now sit in 4th place on the league log just two places behind leaders Karela United.
