PICTURE SPECIAL: Michael Vinicius’ First Appearance In A Kotoko Shirt Against Bechem United

Michael Vinicius finally made his Asante Kotoko debut on Wednesday as the Reds defeated Bechem United in an outstanding Ghana premier league matchweek 16 clash in Obuasi.
The 27-year-old signed on the dotted line in March during the second transfer window but arrived in the country two weeks ago to begin his Porcupine’s career.
He was brought on as a substitute in the 79th minute of the second half for another debutant Francis Andy Kumi with Kotoko leading 3nil.
3 minutes after entering the game, Vinicius registered his name on the score sheet, after connecting a rebound after an earlier shot from Godfred Asiamah had hit the post.
The striker was in a moment of pure ecstasy afterwards as his teammates joined him to celebrate the goal.
Michael Vinicius gave fans a glimpse of his qualities during his short time on the pitch as he troubled Bechem United’s defence with his quick feet and positioning.
Asante Kotoko are next in action on Sunday against Berekum Chelsea and the new signing will be hoping to be handed his first start for the game at the Len Clay Stadium.
