Race For Playmaker Of The Season: Salifu Ibrahim Closing In On Augustine Boakye

 

Hearts of Oak playmaker, Salifu Ibrahim has a hand in the Phobians 2-0 win over Berekum Chelsea on Sunday, May 30.

The Ghana U-23 midfielder assisted Benjamin Afutu for the opener in the match at the Accra Sports Stadium.

 

Salifu delivered a sublime out swinger from a corner to unmarked Afutu who leaped and powerfully connected the cross into the right bottom corner.

The former Techiman Eleven Wonders following the assist has taken his tally to 7 this season, three behind WAFA’s number 10 Augustine Boakye who has set up 10 goals.

Also, King Faisal’s marksman Kwame Peprah is second on the list with with 9 assists.
