Red-Hot Fabio Gama Out Of Asante Kotoko vs Great Olympics Clash On Friday

 

In-form Asante Kotoko midfielder Fabio Gama Dos Santos will miss the club’s next away Premier League game which is against Great Olympics on Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

This is due to accumulated yellow cards he had in games against Aduana Stars, Hearts of Oak and Berekum Chelsea last Sunday.

This is in line with Article 28(1)(e) of the GFA Premier League Regulations (2019) which states that “An unqualified player is a player who has received a caution in three league matches’’.

The prodigy has been instrumental in attack for Mariano Barreto’s team since the start of the second round 2020/2021 Ghana premier league.

He has plundered two goals and three assists in fourteen games for Asante Kotoko so far this season in the Ghana premier league.

The team will be hit with a massive blow due to his absence but Barreto looks forward to an equally good player to fit that role.
