Former Asante Kotoko forward William Opoku Mensah has dragged the Porcupines to Player Status Committee to demand money due him.
Report from Oyerepa FM indicates that Kotoko owes the former Karela United player 32,000 Ghana Cedis in enticing fee and outstanding winning bonuses.
At the moment, Opoku Mensah is a free agent with reports linking him to Inter Allies after his contract with Kotoko run out in January.
Mensah signed a year’s contract for the Reds with an option of renewal if center forward had impressed.
Kotoko have had four ex-players drag the club to the status committee have been sanctioned GHS 198,000 for breach of contracts.
The Reds have appealed the issue and awaits hearing from the Appeals Committee regarding the function placed on the team.
