Former Hearts of Oak hero Lawrence Adjah-Tetteh has shockingly revealed a trial he went through after joining the Club.
Tetteh was a household name at Hearts of Oak helping the Club to win the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup competition.
The iconic midfielder was one of the fan favorites due to his tireless performance for the Club throughout his time with the Phobians.
Despite having a wonderful spell with the Ghanaian giants, the former Pure Joy player has made an alarming and mysterious revelation about superstition at the Club.
“When I went there, there was water but they boiled eggs with apeteshi(Distilled alcohol) for me to eat. Can you believe that? Whiles there was water but they decided to boil the eggs with apeteshi,” he spoke to 442gh.com in an interview.
The issue of superstition among the Ghanaian Clubs have been a subject of discussion over the years.
Many Clubs in Ghana have been attributed to superstitious believes in the past years with several revelations also emerging from ex-footballers.
The midfielder also got an opportunity to play for the Black Stars after featuring in a World Cup qualifier against Somalia.
