Ghana FA executive council member, Mana Sarfo Oduro says Inter Allies defender Hashmin Musah deserves a 10,000 Ghana Cedis reward for scoring two ‘deliberate’ own goals against his team.
The Berekum Chelsea director insist the player’s act should be commended as it sort to foil an attempted betting syndicate.
“If I was in a position to take final decision, I would have rewarded the player with 10,000 Ghana Cedis for his efforts at foiling the matchingsyndicate”.
“Let’s forget about what the media is saying, what the player did was good for the game, his attempt to ensure the bet does not happen for me is laudable” Nana Sarfo Oduro told Asempa FM.
Mr Oduro Sarfo maintained no responsible club will think of sacking such a wonderful player for his contribution towards averting match fixing.
Relegated Inter Allies have condemned their player for scoring the two own goals, while Ashantigold insist they scored 5 great goals in the match that has got the entire world talking.
Defender Hashmin Musah scored two times against his side in a 7 goal thriller in Obuasi in the last round of matches of the Ghana Premier league.
